12 Days of Holiday Ideas for the Classroom - #10

The weekend is finally here, and it's time for Day


of 


I love doing a couple art projects with my kids before the holidays.  One of my favorite things to do is make snowflakes that we hang in our room and leave up until March.  



This video shows you step by step instructions for this easy project.



The only part that I think can be a little tricky is the cutting, so I created a template with lines showing the kids exactly where to cut.  If you click on the image below, you can use the template to help you make your own snowflakes!


I copy the template onto cardstock for even sturdier snowflakes.




One year we mixed in some other colors too!
